The SMTA announced today that booth space officially sold out for the 2012 SMTA International Electronics Exhibition six months before it is scheduled to open. The showcase is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 16-17, at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
"Selling out the show this early is an excellent sign of industry confidence," said Dan Baldwin, SMTA President. "I look forward to what is already proving to be an exciting SMTA International conference and exhibition."
It shows the confidence that our exhibitors have in the focused audience of the conference and the value that our members and attendees will bring to the event.
Over 115 companies have reserved their booth space at the showcase, which is being held in conjunction with the SMTA International Conference - the electronics assembly industry's strongest technical conference. The conference is held October 14-18, adjacent to the exhibition.
Sponsorship opportunities are available, providing an opportunity for companies to further support the industry and conference, as well as gain exposure to the conference and exhibition attendees.
In addition, the SMTA International Technical Committee members are finalizing the conference program, which will offer the most up-to-date and technically advanced learning opportunities for the electronics industry, including engineers, academia, R&D, management, purchasing, designers, manufacturing, and more.
Booth expansion is being discussed at this time. Exhibitors are encouraged to join a waitlist for the time being.
