The Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) announced today that the Atlanta SMTA Expo would return to the Gwinnett Civic Center in Duluth, Georgia for its 19th annual event on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Technical sessions begin at 9:15 AM and the show floor opens at 10:00 AM. This free, one-day event will feature suppliers to the electronics industry displaying products and services for the high technology and surface mount markets, as well as free technical presentations.
Special events of note for 2015 include presentations by leading industry experts Chrys Shea, President, Shea Engineering Services, and Matt Kelly, Principal Engineer and Senior Technical Staff Member, IBM Systems. This year’s SMTA Atlanta Expo will also feature a Designers Roundtable, moderated by Pete Waddell, Publisher, PRINTED CIRCUIT DESIGN & FAB/CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY, as well as a “Best Assembly Practices” Blue Ribbon Panel moderated by Eric Moen, VP Sales and Marketing, Akrometrix, LLC. Representatives from Zestron, Rehm and Creative Electron, as well as Chrys Shea and Matt Kelly, will participate in the panel.
This must-attend event for electronics industry professionals also includes networking opportunities, such as free lunch ‘n learn session and coffee breaks - all on the trade show floor.
