Microscan Named a “Best Company to Work For 2010” by Seattle Business Magazine

Jun 23, 2010

RENTON, WA — Microscan, a global technology leader for barcode and machine vision solutions, has been named one of “Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For 2010” by Seattle Business magazine for the third year in a row.

Seattle Business magazine annually seeks to identify and recognize the top companies in Washington State that are setting the standard for leadership in creating a positive work environment for employees, especially in the areas of benefits, employee retention, and information sharing. The ‘Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For’ program is a three-step judging process, which includes a formal nomination phase, an independent analysis by a research firm that compiles and analyzes data from an employee survey, and, finally, selection of the winners by a panel of distinguished judges.

“Microscan is honored to be recognized by the Washington business community, as this award further demonstrates our dedication to creating a work environment that promotes employee creativity, collaboration and open communication,” said Jeff Timms, President of Microscan. “Microscan is a growing, dynamic company that highly values our employees and company culture.”

Microscan’s corporate headquarter office is located in the Seattle suburb of Renton, Washington. Other offices include a Technology Center in Nashua, New Hampshire, and sales offices throughout the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
