Nihon Superior Co. Ltd., a supplier of advanced soldering materials to the global market, announces that it has opened a new regional headquarters – Nihon Superior Asia Sdn. Bhd. (NSA), in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
NSA will take over the sales activities of Nihon Superior Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (NSM) and will oversee the sales of Nihon Superior Singapore Pte. Ltd. (NSS) as well as its Indonesian subsidiary.
NSM will focus on the manufacture, product development and provision of technical support to Nihon Superior offices in the region. With the opening of the expanded Research & Development laboratory at its Ipoh site in 2013, NSM is well equipped to meet this challenge.

The managing director of the new office is Mr Daisuke Watanabe, who also is the managing director of NSS.
With leadership from NSA, and production capability and technical support from NSM, Nihon Superior is well equipped to provide complete solutions to the electronics industry throughout Southeast Asia.

Nihon Superior was founded in 1966 when it began marketing unique flux products imported from the US. The company made its mark on society by gathering the most advanced soldering and brazing technologies and products from around the world, and supplying them to companies in the metal-joining industry. A turning point for the company came when it started developing its own soldering materials and with the success of its unique SN100C lead-free solder alloy Nihon Superior has become a major player in the global market. To support the growing demand for its products, Nihon Superior has established manufacturing and sales centers in Japan, China and other Asian countries, and the United States, and formed business partnerships with companies in other markets.
