Exhibitors at productronica will show which solution approaches can help solve the industry’s key tasks. The special significance of these key sectors is also impressively reflected by occupancy situation in the halls at the fair. The halls for component mount technology and soldering technology are already booked to capacity. productronica takes place in Munich from November 12 - 15.
productronica distinguishes itself from other industry events in a number of significant ways: It is the only fair in the world that covers the value chain in electronics manufacturing in its entirety. Interaction between the individual process steps is an important factor of success for new and further developments in electronics. Classic key sectors are PCB and other circuitcarrier manufacturing, technologies for cable processing and connectors, cablemount technology, soldering technology and testing, measurement and quality assurance. Rainer Kurtz, Managing Director of ERSA, Chairman of the Technical Advisory Board for productronica and Chairman of the Productronic Association in the German Engineering Federation (VDMA), explains the fair’s significance: “Manufacturers of equipment and accessories use productronica as an extremely important communications building block and a unique innovation platform.”
Miniaturization, high packing densities and having multiple functions and microsystems integrated onto the same chip are placing constantly increasing demands on component-mount technology and soldering technology. At productronica, all companies – from market leaders to newcomers - present innovations and solution approaches for the industry’s various needs. Leading companies such as ASM Assembly Systems, Fuji Machine, Yamaha, Panasonic and Samsung will present their assembly systems at this year’s fair.
In Hall A4, ERSA, SEHO, Weller and Rehm will be among the companies presenting the latest developments in the soldering-technology sector. For the first time ever, the fair will have an “e-shuttle” to take participants directly from the West Entrance to Hall A4.
Christian Rocke, Exhibition Director for productronica, on the fair’s extensive portfolio: “productronica is the state of the art for electronics manufacturing. We can rightfully say that the entire world of electronics production gathers at productronica and has to gather there to promote the industry’s ongoing development.”
