Southern Manufacturing is scheduled to take place on February 12-13, 2014 at FIVE in Farnborough, Hampshire. The MEK PowerSpector 350 desktop AOI is designed for maximum defect coverage whilst maintaining short programming times. With its totally newly developed mechanical platform, it is the only desktop AOI in the market that can be equipped with nine cameras: one top and eight side cameras. The Gensonic Stencil Cleaning System, awarded the European Product of the Year at Productronica 2013, is a manually operated ultrasonic transducer unit for cleaning stencil apertures. The Gensonic can be used either in conjunction with our Stencil Cleaning Centres or portable enough to be taken directly to the printer thereby greatly reducing production downtime and printer resetting.
The Optilia W30x High Magnification Full HD Inspection Camera, launched early Summer of last year, features a powerful 30x optical zoom range and a significant gain in magnification (up to 200x on a 24ʺ monitor). Delta T is Gen3 Systems’ replacement for the Concoat system, Soldapro. Delta T’s Wizard Thermal Profiling comprises a 5-channel temperature logger and user-friendly software, providing the simplest and most basic data to the most comprehensive SPC demands. It can be used to accurately and rapidly determine the oven or wavesoldering bath temperature settings required to optimise the soldering profile of any PCB assembly. This can dramatically improve both process quality and end product reliability in the field.
Gen3, who were appointed the Global Distributors rights for Aprotec Instrumentation in January of last year, will once again display the Z-Check 3D Solder Past Inspection System in which has a highly accurate, motor driven dual axis positioning stage. The large scanning area allows the PCB to remain static whilst multiple measurements are made and recorded, thus greatly enhancing the ability to accurately repeat the measurement of selected pads. Solder paste Inspection is available at an affordable price.
